These slippers are crafted using premium Japanese Hiroshima denim, imbuing them with a simple yet elegant quality. The tatami portion is also authentically Japanese, made using genuine Igusa, a plant cultivated in Japan. Furthermore, we meticulously select the finest portion of the Igusa plant—the tip of the ear—known for its exceptional quality.
As a result, these tatami slippers offer a higher level of quality compared to ordinary traditional Japanese tatami, boasting a finer mesh and a more luxurious feel. Due to limited production quantities, we are unable to mass-produce these slippers. Additionally, the production period is limited, leading to potential stock shortages during certain times of the year.
We hope to introduce people worldwide to the charm of Japanese indoor footwear culture.
